About Us

toast on a white plate

Everyone has their own unique story to tell, and at Toast we’re a small team based in Queenstown with a passion for creating wedding & elopement films that capture those memories so you feel like you can go back in time and relive them over and over, until you’re old and grey.

When we first started filming weddings in 2014, we had one clear goal - to stay away from cheesy poses and films that look like Uncle Glen loitered at the back of the room recording for 12 hours straight on his handycam.

We love the Uncle Glens of the world, but we’d rather capture him tearing up the dance floor than leave him in charge of preserving the memory of one of the most special days of your life.

what we make

how we make it

We capture the hundreds of tiny moments that make up your wedding day, (including the ones you’ll miss while you’re busy enjoying yourselves). It goes by in a flash and there’s so many things you’ll want to remember. Not to mention share with absent family and friends.

So whether you’re throwing the party of the century or keeping it close and intimate, we’ll create a film that’s as fun, romantic, elegant, quirky and beautiful as you are.

And we like to think we know how to add a touch of cinematic flare to the day as well. With our roots as a boutique creative agency, we bring the same high end equipment and expertise to our wedding film work. We were recognised as New Zealand’s Top Wedding Videographer in 2022 and have been recognised as one of Wild Heart’s Best Videographers so you can be sure our films will stand the test of time, and, more importantly, blow you away!

The Toast team specialise in Destination Weddings & Elopements across Queenstown, Wanaka, Central Otago & New Zealand. No location is off limits for capturing your big day.
